Surface Regularity

Surface Regularity.jpg

Surface regularity represents a quality of the surface, which is often referred to as a measure of waviness of the surface. It defines a deviation of the surface level from a perfectly flat theoretical plane and helps to determine if the surveyed surface is suitable for planned use.

Surface is scanned using a high definition 3D laser scanner and the collected data is registered and processed in order to obtain the height deviations.

Surface regularity can be presented as a surface level grid relative to a fixed datum, a contour map or a height heat-map.
